The annex deck replacement project was a big success. Even though it was a holiday weekend, a large work crew turned out to help, and the whole thing was nearly finished all in one day. The Aiken UU Church is working on officially becoming a Good Trouble Congregation. The South Carolina UU Justice Alliance, SC NAACP and UU the Vote issued a challenge to churches to earn this designation, and the Social Justice Committee voted to proudly pursue this.

Family Promise Dinner
Church members and friends prepared and served dinner on June 27, 2022 to students enrolled in a Family Promise course called Keys to Good Tenancy. This class is offered as part of the homelessness prevention goal of Family Promise and is designed to provide vulnerable families with the knowledge and skill to be good tenants.
