Extra Help in July for Salvation Army Soup Kitchen

We are in need of more volunteers than usual for the Salvation Army soup kitchen in July since two church members who help every week will not be available then. Please help if you can. Jerusalem in the Memorial Garden

This is the first year of blooming for the second generation Lily from the Garden of Gethsemane in Jerusalem. The first generation bulbs were grown from seeds brought back from the women’s monastery of St. Mary Magdalene located in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jerusalem. Help 2nd Baptist Food Pantry!

Saturday July 14th

Shared workday with 2nd Baptist Church of Aiken. At 7am (to avoid the heat) the people of 2nd Baptist invite us to show up at 425 Hampton Ave NW and help them to clean out the attic of the building housing their food pantry. Everyone who is able to lend a hand is encouraged to come and meet some new people.
