Come worship with us on Sunday morning! Our service begins at 11:00 a.m. and lasts an hour. Dress up or dress casual – you choose! Following the service, we invite you to join us for refreshments and conversation. Often, we also hold a more in-depth discussion of the week’s message after the service.
At the beginning of August 2016, we welcomed Debra Guthrie to our congregation as a part-time minister. Debra had just completed an internship at First Church Unitarian Universalist in Leominster, Massachusetts, following completion of her Masters of Divinity at Andover Newton Theological School in December 2015. Debra is brightening the pulpit with her heartfelt stories and warm sense of humor, and helping us grow our presence in the Aiken community as a beacon of acceptance and an advocate for peace and justice.
On Sundays at 11:00 a.m. we also offer separate religious education classes for children (these classes often involve crafts or other potentially messy activities, so youngsters should dress accordingly). Childcare is available on Sundays until 12:30 p.m.

Our congregation has been growing steadily. In November 2003, a group was formed to explore having a Unitarian Universalist congregation in Aiken. Four years later that fledgling congregation purchased a building and received their charter from the UUA with 31 founding members. Since then, we’ve gone through strategic planning, doubled our membership, added a playground and religious education annex for our fabulous children, and formed a choir. We look forward to even more change and growth in the future.
